As Nursing Support Workers鈥� Day falls on a Saturday this year, our activities will be spread over four whole days from Friday 22 鈥� Monday 25 November.
This year, the theme for Nursing Support Workers鈥� Day will be the importance of equity, diversity and inclusion. We'll be shining a spotlight on the diversity of the nursing support workforce and the importance of inclusivity of nursing support workers within the nursing profession.
From 22-25 November, we鈥檒l be asking RCN members, their colleagues and health and care organisations to get involved using the resources below.

Nursing Support Workers’ Day returns on 23 November 2024. It’s a chance to recognise and acknowledge the remarkable contribution of all staff working in nursing support roles.
This year, we’ll be joining the 天美传媒 in celebrating the vital contribution our nursing support workers make every day.
Our activity will focus on shining a light on the diversity of this workforce and their immense contribution to nursing.
We’ll also be demonstrating the unwavering commitment of our nursing support staff to making a difference to people’s lives – not just to patients, but their families and loved ones too.
