GP Deep End practices are the 100 general practices which serve the most socio-economically deprived populations in Scotland and this briefing for a debate on healthy life expectancy covers nursing in our communities and universal health visiting services, concluding that we need the right number of health and social care professionals working together in the right areas if we are to tackle health inequalities and make sure our NHS is sustainable.
